Älvsjö Centre is a rather small shopping centre located in the southern part of greater Stockholm in a business area close to Stockholm International Fairs which attracts about 1.5 million visitors a year.

Its main focus is primarily on people living and working in the immediate vicinity. New apartments (including condominiums) are being developed in Älvsjö and some other general infrastructure and environmental improvements are planned for the area. This is expected to enhance the attraction of the area, with positive effects on Älvsjö Centre.

It is very close to train and bus stations that connect people to Stockholm City.
