The focus of the COO is on strategic, tactical, and short-term Operations Management, responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver company products/services.

A previous career of nine years in senior management with the House of Fraser group of stores and a twelve year career in Shopping Centre management led to Simon joining European Fund Management in 2004.

Promoted to Commercial Director in the spring of 2006 responsible for Commercial and non core income activities to include consulting for the Nordic properties, mentoring the EFM Suomi management team in 2006 at the new €360m Kamppi shopping centre Centre in Helsinki, Finland.

In March 2007 he was consulting for EFM Sverige handling Boultbee and other third party clients responsible for the setting up of a new EFM Commercial department providing Marketing services together with a new Speciality Leasing team delivering added value non core revenue activities into Swedish shopping malls.
